Demonstration / Street Theater

The 9/12 Project of South Carolina may be a fledgling organization, but we have already had several "street theater" opportunities this year. Please let us know if your group has an event that you would like posted here, or if you know of an event coming up that we may be interested in: events@the912projectsc.org.

South Carolina Rally for Freedom

Saturday, January 9th, 2010. This was a collaborative effort to rally all freedom-minded South Carolinians at the Statehouse in Columbia prior to the legislature opening session. Even with a very cold day in our hands some 1,200 individuals responded to the call of FREEDOM!

11/05  March on Washington, DC

The 9/12 Project of South Carolina answered to the Emergency House Call made by Michelle Bachman to march in DC on November 5th. Buses and individuals went from all over the state to demand Congress to kill the healthcare bill.

Okra Strut

Even thought the weather was cold and rainy, the Lexington Chapter passed out flyers during the parade and had a booth at the Okra Strut in Irmo on September 26th.

Lexington Family Fun Fest

The Lexington Chapter turned out to pass out flyers at the parade on September 19th.

9/12 March on Washington, DC

The 9/12 Project of South Carolina had a huge attendance at the march in DC on September 12th. Buses and individuals went from all over the state to help get our legislators' attention.

Statewide 9/12 Project Gathering

The 9/12 Project of South Carolina held our first statewide meeting on August 29th. This family event was hosted by the Lexington 9/12 Group at Saluda Shoals Park in Columbia.

Lexington County Smoking Ban Protest

On August 24th, members from the Lexington 9/12 group protested the proposed Lexington County Smoking Ban as yet another infringement on personal property rights.

Lexington County Peach Festival

The Lexington 9/12 group had a table and a parade float at the Lexington County Peach Festival on July 4th at the Gilbert Community Park. What a great success this turned out to be! The Lexington Peach Festival always has a huge turnout, and The 9/12 Group of South Carolina received a great response. A big thanks goes to all of the Lexington 9/12 members who put so much time and effort into this.

Wake Up South Carolina

First Freedoms and The 9/12 Project SC presented Wake Up South Carolina on the front steps of the Capitol Building on July 3rd. There was a performance of the Declaration of Independence, as well as speakers representing other patriotic-minded organizations from around the state. Thanks to everyone who participated and worked hard make this event such a great success.

ABC  Protest of Obama "Infomercial"

Midlands area 9/12 Project members protested outside of WOLO in downtown Columbia on June 24th against ABC's showing of the president's Health Care Plan "infomercial" without opposing viewpoints.

Orangeburg Flag Day Tea Party

A few members from the Lexington 9/12 group attended the Tea Party in Orangeburg on June 14th.

Sovereignty Rally

9/12'ers from around the state turned out for the Sovereignty Rally at the statehouse on May 2nd.

Tax Day Tea Party

The South Carolina Tax Day Tea Parties were a huge success. There were 9/12'ers joining in at numerous Tea Parties held across the state. In Columbia, more than 3000 were in attendance; in Charleston, estimates were between 2000 - 2500; and there were thousands more in Greenville, Spartanburg, Aiken, Lancaster, Fort Mill, Florence, Myrtle Beach, Georgetown, among others.
